As part of a recent factory expansion, NC Engineering required a durable and reliable walling solution for the construction of a new shed at their facility.
Moore Concrete supplied 13 Prestressed Wall Panels, each measuring 1.0m high and 200mm (8″) thick, providing a strong precast solution suited to the requirements of the new building.
Prestressed Wall Panels offered a practical solution for the expansion, combining the strength and durability of precast concrete with a straightforward and rapid installation process. Being made to measure, the panels provided a precise fit, helping to streamline the installation. The 13 panels were successfully installed as part of the new shed, helping NC Engineering create the additional space required to support the continued expansion of their operations.
This isn’t the first time Moore Concrete has worked with NC Engineering. Eight years ago, we supplied QuikBloc and Prestressed Passage Covers for the construction of a bunker, providing a precast solution to meet the requirements of the project.

Following the installation, we caught up with Robert Nicholl, Director at NC Engineering, to hear about the project and his experience working with Moore Concrete.
