Moore Concrete’s Apprenticeship Programme is an opportunity that we pride ourselves in offering to young students studying all levels of apprenticeships, providing them with the platform to upskill, develop their knowledge and gain relevant work experience alongside their studies. We have an on-site Apprenticeship Mentor who is available for unlimited support and guidance, as well as quarterly Apprentice Reviews to grasp a deeper understanding of what our apprentices have learn and how else we can accommodate them to help grow their technical ability within their role.

We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Apprentice to join our growing marketing/commercial team. The purpose of this role will allow the successful candidate to upskill and develop throughout the business, which will coincide with their studies. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience of the varied aspects of a role within Marketing.

 Company Benefits:

Hours of work: Hours for the role will be Monday – Friday (08:00 – 17:00). Please make HR aware of what day(s) you will require for day release to tech.

Roles & Duties:

• Bring a high quality and efficient approach to all processes involved in.
• Use skills learnt within further education to bring across different approaches and outlooks on processes to work more efficiently – online presence, company website etc.
• Contribute to web market strategies, brining input from a creative perspective.
• Develop graphics as required, to contribute to wider Company brand.
• Assist the Marketing Executive with organising trade shows, exhibitions and merchant visits if required.
• Involvement in projects, preparation of interesting written and visual content.
• Collation of information & design of promotional materials and assisting with management of digital marketing channels.
• Working in the marketing/commercial team to help with the promotional and advertisement functions for each of the company sectors: Agricultural, Building and Civil infrastructure.
• Managing workload to ensure all deadlines are met effectively.
• Work as part of the commercial department in regards to administration tasks and any other duties within reason and capability, as outlined by management.

Essential Criteria:

• 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above including English and Maths or equivalent.
• Studying or applying to an apprenticeship in Marketing, Advertising or other related subject.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organisation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Strong IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in a busy office environment.
• Eagerness to learn and ability to be proactive and work independently.
• Punctual with good attendance and timekeeping.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in working in an office environment.
• Previous experience delivering presentations.
• Experience in design of advertising and marketing materials.
