As part of an expansion and yard development project for Granco Ltd in Newry, a retaining wall solution was required to maximise the usable area of the site while accommodating significant surcharge loads from heavy commercial vehicles.
Redi-Rock XL blocks were selected for their ability to achieve the required wall height and loading capacity without geogrid reinforcement, preserving valuable yard space and reducing installation works. The completed wall provides a durable, long-term solution capable of withstanding the demands of a busy commercial vehicle depot.
