Millmount is located a few minutes outside Dundonald its central location is only 15 minutes from Belfast City center, Comber, Newtownards, Holywood and Bangor. With development runs adjacent to the Comber Greenway with its 7 miles of cycle free traffic.
Development of this site for extensive housing, in an area adjudged as potential future flood risk, required mitigation factors to be introduced, hence the installation of an Attenuation Tank.
Moore Concrete designed an Attenuation Tank for Millmount Housing Development, Dundonald, for main contractor Lagan Construction Ltd. Units were manufactured with a sloping invert, box outs and end walls. The maximum weight of the units was 30 ton.
