Moore Biosystems builds the first on-farm AD plant in Northern Ireland

This plant is a 250 kW CHP unit exporting electric to the grid, providing electric for the farm and is heating the adjoining farrowing unit housing 1500 sows.

The plant is powered by pig slurry produced on site and grass silage.

The plant is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland.
